Add-On Releases - Intro On Registration

Mark As Installed = Support

For Version Information: Go to Post #2

Description: This mod submits an user's intro thread when a member registers. So at Registration when they fill out the User Profile Field it will post a thread when they register with the User Profile Field info.


To install:

go to AdninCP > User Profile Fields > Add New User Profile Field

1. Create a new multiple-line text box profile field with the following settings.

Title: (your choice) or User Introduction

Description: (your choice) or This will post a new thread in (enter your forum name here where it will be posted) with the info you provided.
----
Max length: (has to be more then your minimum you will set later)
----
Field Required:Yes, at registration and profile updating
----
Private field: yes (can be no if you wish)

2. Import the product-e360_intro.xml product file via AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]

3. Go To AdminCP > Settings > Options > e360 - Intro On Registration Option/ And config

I also Create a new forum and call it Members Introductions and the Description New members Introductions

Thanks for the responses from both.

I forgot that, just imported the plug-in only as usual as other mods.
I try doing that & update the result later while marking the product as installed.

Installed and working fine,
but, now the intro posts are not coming in the Activity Stream?!
Is there a way to add it?

Do members receive replies if another replies to their intro post?

I just installed and ran this but once I complete the details on the register page and click onto the next page, a database error appears. (user account it created and intro post posted) no idea why the database error appears.

What was the error, or are we just supposed to guess?
