Rebuilding a plugin similar to VBSEO, suggestions needed
Hello fellow board members,
I owned some forums using VBSEO and i have many clients from http://www.vbulletinconsultant.com/ who are using VBSEO plugin and now facing problems since the plugin or any upgrade is gone. I have already started working on the plugin and honestly it is just 25% complete yet. We are working on keeping only certain functionalities from VBSEO, our priorities are the URL generation like VBSEO, Sitemap, pinging search engines and more functions like this, i need suggestions on what other community owners think they would like to use in similar functional plugin. If you have any suggestion or would like to contribute to the plugin in any possible way, please let me know here. Regards

You're a bit late in doing this. Dbseo is already being developed .

Sorry intensecool but you building yet another vbseo replacement plugin is a waste of time.
Here's why: * You have no mods released. * You're not an established coder (at vb.org in terms of mods/coding/tutorials/graphics releases). * Even if you did make it cheaper, why would someone take a gamble on buying a mod from someone who hasn't even made a mod prior to this? Dragonbyte is quite the opposite: * They have quite a number of mods released and a good amount of coders to fix whatever issues arise. * They also have alot of free mods available along with good support for them. * Even if I have to pay for DBSeo, at least I know I will be getting a good quality product and excellent support for issues/bugs.

Seems like there are a bunch of dbseo humpers in here. I recommend not building or installing any SEO plugin - build out your site around high quality content and customize the default url rewrite settings & you'll be gold.
