[DBTech] Live Streaming Suite v3 (vB4)
Developer Last Online: Mar 2023
Live Streaming Suite lets you host a directory of your forum's Twitch.Tv or YouTube channels, complete with stream status, live previews and direct links to users' streams!
Why use Live Streaming Suite? If you run a gaming forum, and a lot of your users stream content, you know it can be hard to get good exposure on Twitch.tv or YouTube for your members' channels. This mod can help boost your members' exposure by letting them add their own channels to your directory, displaying them in a nice easy-to-browse interface with multiple features that allows viewers to find your channels easily. You can also use this mod to promote your favourite streamers by adding channels via the AdminCP. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other addons available @ www.DragonByte-Tech.com/forum Support posted at our forum is generally answered much quicker. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you like this mod please hit the button to the right ----> Please remember to click the, button to the right if you installed the mod ----> What does 'Marking As Installed' do ? * It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified by us whenever new updates are available. * For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention. * Marking a modification as installed also helps us know how many people are using our work, giving us extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications. after using this for a day it is much faster than our old twitch integration but missing a couple things that i think would make this mod even better. one is my above post about a sidebar block. it will increase the visibility of our streamers as a lot of the people using our forums do not bother with going through the menus to find what we offer. if its displayed right in their faces they will click and view much more often.
the second thing is to display currently online streams first in the list of streams. it would be better if you did not have to scroll through a bunch of offline streams to find one that is online. also it would be good to make online streams more identifiable. the little online/offline image isnt really that noticable and i have to lean in closer to my screen in order to see if a stream is online or not. |

Feature requests are best posted @ our forum (http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/forum.php) since requests posted here will most likely get lost in the mists of time

In acp, did you goto options>navigation manager>"Add tab" and then name the page whatever you wanted and for "target URL" - "/twitch.php"? Like its says in the readme.txt...

Is the new tab/page ticked "active"? If so then it should show up in general area of "activity stream" tab/page link.
