I used some free mods that didn't work well. Finally purchased PhotoPost. I even paid a little extra and they loaded it for me. Lots of admin options, a real quality product and support is first class.

A couple of recently uploaded photos can be displayed across the top of your forum, really makes uploading pictures popular. My users really like the product too.
