One of our other admins is in the Eastern time zone, which is three hours ahead of me (Pacific time), and he observes DST. However, for some reason, the "automatically detect" setting doesn't work for him and he has to manually set it to on or off.
Any ideas what the issue could be? |

I have no idea where the problem might be, but you can try to clear your web cache. Also the automatic detection uses client-side javascript and it relies on the clock on the client computer.
PM your website url so I can check it. |

It shows me 4:47 being 7:47. So the problem is not the clock on the client computer. Clear your cache.
And you can read this thread https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=50946 |

Why would you send someone to a thread that is in the archives, and is from 2003??

If I had a idea I would, If I don't post in a thread it is because I do not know. I would like to kindly suggest the same for you.

I dont think we should be arguing this here because it doesnt help him to solve his problem.
