Thanks tbworld about that i was also searching for this..
But i mean under Post new threads it has a dropdown that looks similar to prefix system... Vbulletin.org also in Mods has something similar... |

It looks to me like just a simple HTML select box where they probably pre-query some sort of special tags (or vb tags) they are applying to their threads. Seems simple and elegant to me, although maybe not so mobile friendly. If your going down this route you might want to think ahead and make sure you have alternatives for mobile viewing.

This is a well-needed resource, too bad so many of us are sticking to vb 4.2 and really never plan to move to vb 5.
I'd love it if someone could would develop a plugin to do this with the current navigation manager. However, understand why not many would take on this project. |

On 'redflags' they just use a large select box and have the options point to sub-forums. It is nothing special and anyone can really throw this together.
Take a look at the html for that page as it will give you an outline on how to do it. All you might need is a little help placing the select box onto your page. |
