javascript problem after being hacked.
Javascript issue
Has anyone had a javascript issue after being hacked and if so how did you remedy it. I can't run the upgrade script after uploading fresh files without getting a javascript error. It isn't the browser (even though it's mentioned), as I have tried in IE, Chrome and Firefox. I've also tried on a different computer. |

--------------- Added [DATE]1379071533[/DATE] at [TIME]1379071533[/TIME] --------------- If the error is not showing in the browser: Please try adding Code:
ini_set('display_errors', true); |

Hi Ozzy, I've sorted it out out now.
The error that I was getting was this Javascript support within your browser may be disabled; this is required to continue. If javascript is enabled, verify that this file is in place: I then found a thread by TheLastSuperman http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/blogs...vbulletin-site and followed the info on there. Deleted everythig from the server root and reuploaded the files, then used the upgrade tab in admincp. This time it worked. There must have been a corrupt file left by the hackers that I had missed. Everything is back to normal now... and installs folder deleted!!!! Thanks for the reply. |
