I'm trying to start a thread at vBulletin.com Pre-Sales forum, and I just can't post.. It's always some error message... Are you guys associated with the main vBulletin.com company?

vBulletin Version 4 Question I have: Somebody told me vBulletin Version 4 is the one I should start off with and then later upgrade to Version 5 as the community grows. Where can I find the Version 4 by itself to buy, and what is the cost? Thanks...

We no longer sell VB4 licenses. You buy a VB5 license and you are allowed to use VB4 or VB5 at your choice. Should the day ever come you want to upgrade to VB5 that would be free since you already have a VB5 license.

As for the errors posting to vbulletin.com, it is probably the anti-spam system flagging your posts as possible spam. Unlicensed users posts often need to be manually approved before being displayed on the site.

What's difference between just the vBulletin 5 Connect ($249) and vBulletin 5 Connect + Mobile Suite Bundle ($399)...

Will my domain not be accessible by mobile browsing without the "Mobile Suite Bundle".. or will it convert the site into an app or something... just trying to understand what's the difference between both..

Yes, your site will be accessible via mobile without the Mobile Suite Bundle. There is a mobile style included with vB4. The Mobile Suite Bundle just allows you to create an actual app to put in the iTunes and Google Play store for your users to download and use to access your site (instead of using their browser).
