I know this has got to be a simple permissions and/or settings issue. But how do I get a private forum (i.e.; my moderator's forums) TO show when only THEY hit "new posts/today's posts"?
It is a private, non viewable, and password protected forum. My mods are not keeping up well with reading the moderator's forums, because they don't show up in new posts/today's posts, but I wanna make sure I don't accidentally set it to where all registered users can see those. |

For the forum, make sure to set "Index New Posts in Search Engine" to Yes if you want the threads to show up for them when they hit New Posts.

Little suggestion would be to turn password protection off. I'm not sure if those posts are returned in search results. As long as your permissions are set up correctly, no one should have access.

Thank you Lynne! That worked perfectly and I double-checked my permissions. Zachery, thanks I turned off the password protection as well, because it seemed a little redundant anyway since the moderator forums are private and no one else without permissions can see them.
