All text in reply and easy reply is getting underlined. seems like default has changed to underline everything in reply field. First post in thread is fine, all subsequent ones are underlined.
is there any easy way to update the code for reply or quick reply?

I would guess you have an unclosed underline tag in your page. If you post a link to the page, we would be able to check that.
