Correct me if I am wrong but is it not the case that even vB4 is now 'End of Life' and gets no new upgrades or bugfixes ever since vB5 was released?

I must say I feel a bit peeved that I paid for the new vB4 just a year ago and now find myself invited to pay again to upgrade to vB5. I wonder how long it will be before vB5 is replaced with a vB6, with the same requirement to pay again for the upgrade.
