I think brand loyalty comes from exceptional customer service / friendliness / timeliness, etc. Yes, the product needs to be good - but what really gets people to stay loyal is the human experience.

I think it's incredible over here at vB.org, but I really can't say the same on the .com forums. That's why I spend most of my time over here now
