Custom buttons to move threads and change usergroups.

My forum has a lot of different usergroups and members apply to get in each one. I use easy forms to manage the applications and it posts a thread in a forum when the applicant is done.

Would it be possible to make custom buttons somewhere on the threads for mods to click either accept/deny and it would move the user's usergroup and/or thread?
