Hey Everyone, here is our site. Its a community based on the Xbox video game consoles that have been released including games. We've been working really hard and could use any opinions on it. What do like about it? What don't you like about it? What suggestions would have to make it better? Any feedback is greatly welcomed!

Extra questions we're curious about is whether you think the site engages the community. Is it clean and understandable? anything you think should be changed? Do you feel its on target and organized well?

Here is my review if you’re interested

• The site don’t really feel like an xbox forum other then the name, I see no xbox logos but then again I don’t have an xbox so maybe it’s chanced in the last year or two.
• I would move your best content above the fold, no one really cares what’s in the “welcome to xbox forums” but I’m sure they are interested in what’s happening with xbox its setup..eg the 2nd or 3rd section.
• Your category descriptions aren’t showing correctly, the xbox general section cuts off and breaks out when it’s minimized.
• I’d focus more on the release dates and upcoming events box, I’m guessing these are games or something. I would imagine people are interested in that.
• Most your forum descriptions look great as far as SEO goes, there are a few which could use another sentence or two.
• Check out the notice system, add a box to guest as well as logged in members that a) tells guest what the site is about and b) tells the members where to post and find the best info.
• I guess I like the overall style, it looks clean but again doesn’t really scream xbox to me.
• I’d move the share this forum widget to the bottom of your column, again, focus on your best content above the fold.
• The search box in the center of your header looks over but I didn’t know it was a search box at first. Maybe change the default “Type Here..” to idk, “search xbox tips..”
• I like the Power circle icon to the right of the search, I’d would something like that for your forum markers as well.
• I like the award mod/tab that you have, I think great emphasis could be given to it.

You should check out the metro style that is floating around, and morph it around the xbox designs. Would look really good.

Thanks guys i'll get to work on some of those suggestions. We were going for as clean as possible when we put it together.

Very nice, clean, and uncluttered. Very refreshing after looking at a bunch of poorly designed dark styles.
