Is there a way to prevent users in the Users Awaiting Moderation usergroup from being listed in What's Going On? > Currently Active Users

Have to add, I'm an Administrator. Am I seeing these because I am an Admin? Do non-Admins not see them?

Yes there is in there user group settings for there group
