Honoring deceased members
Looking for some suggestions on how others honor forum members that have passed away. Currently we have a user group called Lifetime Achievement where those members are placed and it lists them on the Forum Leaders page, plus shuts down access to their account.
I'm looking for something a little more than that but don't really have any ideas, so I was hoping someone may be able to stimulate some brain cells. |

At one point we dedicated a forum to them (my site is for folks with neurological disorders and other health issues of which most are terminal ) but that got too complicated.
I have a inkling of an idea about creating a special page to honor those that have passed away but no concrete layouts. One other idea we are contemplating is a special forum that would be a memorial to those that have passed. Our admin team (or someone close to the user) would write up a bio and start a new thread for that user. Personally I like this option the most, but since it's up to our members that doesn't much matter |

We leave our Forum open so friends can comment but i have seen Forums who close it to posting and just add members as they pass and then re-close it. |
