Embed Youtube RSS

Hi all,
I have a RSS feed setup for importing youtube videos from specific channels. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to embed the actual video though.

I tried setting up a BB code that is something like [youtubeRSS]*in here I put the code to read the link of the youtube video from the RSS feed[/youtubeRSS] but it doesn't seem to work when the actual link from the RSS feed is inserted in the HTML for the youtube vid.

This way obviously doesn't work...anyone have one that does?

have you made a custom bbcode to display youtube videos already?

We use Youtube rss.

It embeds the video flawlessly. But I think you would also need to use a product.

Search for:

passiveVid 1.1.2 Automaticlly turns video links like youtube, myspace videos, google vidoes into the video players.

Then when the Rss feed fetches the Youtube URL, this modification converts the url, automatically into actual video within the feed post.

Hey, how can I do this in vBulletin 4.1.11?????? I've been searching for this for hours and I just saw this thread! Can someone please assist? I'm actually tryin to embed videos and/or images from any and all of my RSS feeds into my posts, but I am having no luck with the {feed:enclosure_href}
