Login Problem
I haven't logged into my site in a couple months because I haven't needed to.
When I tried today it won't let me log in. I have tried to recover password and it isn't sending the info to any email account that I own. I don't know what this means, but I can't log in and nobody else has admin rights. I can log into my cPanel just fine. Is there a way to find the information through cPanel or the back-end of vBulletin? |

If there's another user that you can log in to, then you could copy the password and salt fields in the database from that user to yours.
Another thing you can do is register a new user, then in the vbulletin distribution find a file called tools.php (in the do_not_upload folder). If you upload that to your admincp folder then go to admincp/tools.php, it will let you make the new user an admin (you will need your customer number). |

I am entering my customer number and it won't let me go any further.

Hmm...that's the number you use to log in to the customer area at vbulletin.com, right? What happens when you try?

It just goes back to asking for the customer number.
I figured out it is that I haven't upgraded vBulletin to the latest one yet apparently. Now that isn't going correctly either. |
