  • Explanation;
    • What is this Postbit for ? The only reason for the creation of this Postbit is to change the style of the Default Vbulletin Postbit into the one which ,i believe , looks much better.
  • Caution ;
    • This Postbit is designed complately based on the Vbulletin Default Postbit. Thus , it does not support extra added features!. If you have a forum which includes such extra features, I will explain how to add them into postbit in the thread. But it is your job to apply it.
  • If you install it carefully by following to instructions, there would not be any issue
  • If you have a Custom Designed Postbit, I would highly recommend to take its backup.
  • Installation
    • Step 1.
    • Open the additional.css template of the theme that you use and add this code to the top

  • In order to add extra features , Follow the instructions below.
  • Open then postbit_legacy template of your theme, Edit and add the following codes to the bottom of the page.

Hippy,

Ok i just re-installed it. Same issue from adding the script in step 1 into the additional.css template. Forces my entire site to have a grey background color of #efefef

Also is there a way to have a default avatar for users who don't have one.?

as I only have this installed on sites I work on .. youll need to send me details to try and fix it ..
seems to have a common css thats over riding something on the fourms.
no way for me to narrow it down..

Got it figured out. Putting the script at the top of the additional.css was overriding the other scripts. Moved it to the end of the additional.css and the issue has been resolved.

Hello,

I have a fixed skin on my forum just like the one used here at vbulletin.org and as soon as i installed this mod it made my forum went to full width and i don't like that is there a fix for this.

Any help is appriciated..

Fixed! pretty much i had to do the same thing the guy above suggested i put the css code in the bottom instead of the top and everything stayed the same.
