for some reason I can't get mine to show
I am not going to reinstall my style, please help for some reason I had to right click and go 'show image'... |

Most likely you have a problem with the forum style path. Look in your forumhome for "forum_new.gif" and look and see if there is a bad image path
|

hmm I think I am doing it correct..
<td><img src="$stylevar[imgdir_statusicon]/forum_new.gif" alt="$vbphrase[contains_new_posts]" border="0" /></td> and my forum_new.gif is in style/statusicon/ folder the post_old goes like this: /style/statusicon/post_old.gif and my post_new goes in the exact same folder |

What have you set as the statusicon directory? Make sure that you have placed the image into the directory specified there.

if you have a images folder in your style make sure to add that too..
usually path goes like this Quote:
