Ad management solutions?

I'm thinking about adding some advertising to my site and would like to manage this myself rather than go through ad sense or the like.

Ideally, I'd like something where advertisers can go to a page/site, purchase the advertising they want, upload images and then track their impressions and clicks. Then those images are added to a banner rotation system for the spot they purchased. I've looked through the banner rotation and done some searches for ad management but haven't seen anything that actually does this.

I'm also wondering if there may be a 3rd party ad system that does that and can be integrated in some way?

No, there is no system that completely removes the salesperson from the advertising. You sell it, you create it, you post it.

It's amazing how many times I see this request though. But no advertiser is ever going to go to the trouble when they're paying you to.

I use OpenAds. You can create accounts for advertisers so they can even track their impressions, etc. You can also rotate banners and serve banners across many sites. Ofcourse you still need to sell the banners yourself, collect payment, etc..
