Default Webs Guides

I've created my new website using vBulletin publishing suite. My website Webs Guides is created about 1 week ago, and its primary objective is to connect webmasters from all over the world. I feel satisfied buying vBulletin template as it really looks professional.

There are 3 parts of Webs Guides:

Home:
Webs Guides Home contains useful resources for website learning (especially website newbies or beginners).

Forum:
Webs Guides Forum is a community for webmasters ranging from newbies to veteran to connect and help out each others.

Blogs:
Webs Guides Blogs is the place for all webmasters to share latest website updates and useful news information that happened around the web.

I'm new to vBulletin and hopefully someone can help me to solve one problem below.

For my forum, there are several forum links that I want them to appear exactly the same as the original forum. For example, for my Google Forum, I want these forum links to:
- Display Threads/Posts
- Display Last Post
- Sum Up Post Count into Google Forum

Does anyone knows how to do that? It would be great if someone can help me out on this matter. Thanks.

I think you need to create your own look. It's still the basic Vbulletin theme.

Had one look at it (the forums anyways) pretty obvious that you pasted from digitalpoint & made minor edits to random parts of it. That's not a good way to start off a forum and yes you are due for a different look than the vb default.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions.

The forum categorization on digitalpoint is too tempting. Originally I have my own forum categorization with fewer parent forums. After posting some threads I discover I would need this forum and need that forum, so I slowly added additional forum 1 by 1 but the categorization has lots of overlaps. So after added this added that, my forum eventually ended up to look similar to digitalpoint because their categorization is too perfect without much overlapped categorization.

Regarding the vB template, I think the default template looks really nice (can't I just use the default look? lolx ). I'm new in vB system, is there any good beginner's guide on changing the color for the prominent header background?

Please just say no to the default clunky look of vB 4.x

What will make your forum stand out amongst those in the same niche is to have your own custom, brandable look. Using the default skin shows a lack of creativity at best. At worse it says that the owner of the site is lazy LOL

Nothing else to be said as for 'community review' -- you have an out-of-box forum with a simple text logo. Nothing to be critiqued really.

J.
