Execution Order, will it help?
Hi everyone.
Question about Execution Order on plugins, I have a LOT of plugins installed and I have just recently noticed that two of them that use notifications seem to be sporadic and don't work perfectly all the time, albeit they both still work, could it be because every single plugin seems to be on 5? and because I have a few plugins that all use notifications could they be interfering with each other somehow? Thanks. |

The execution order only matters for plugins on the same hook location. But yes, of course if you have multiple plugins trying to modify the same functionality (notifications for instance) they could be interfering with each other. Changing the execution order may or may not make a difference depending on exactly what the problem is. In any case if they're all set to 5 then I don't see how experimenting with different values could hurt anything.

Ok thanks, I'll have a play around and see if it helps.
