Help Deleting Posts
Hello. When a forum I created for a client was originally created it got bombarded with spam comments. I deleted some of them, and some were deleted on my clients end. For some reason, even though the threads were deleted, they are still showing up on the home page as new posts. Is there any way to fix this? The last one remaining is under the category 'Known Errors,' but the categories 'Guide FAQ,' 'Known Errors,' and 'Community Support' show as having hundreds of posts although they only have 1 or none. I've tried everything but can't fix it. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried running Admin CP > Maintenance > Update Counters > Rebuild Forum Information?
That will update the last post information on the forum home. |

Thank you guys for the responses. Unfortunately my client deleted most of the posts, I'm pretty sure she mass deleted them, but I have no idea what she did and I can't figure out how to fix it.
Iain - Under 'Maintenance' I don't have an option for Update Counters for some reason? I'm using 4.1.10 |

I can't even get into the admincp? http://seismicgames.com/forum/ --------------- Added [DATE]1333123938[/DATE] at [TIME]1333123938[/TIME] --------------- Nevermind, sorry! I think there was just a hiccup in the hosting. It was a MySQL connection error. Thanks again! |

I guess that's changed in most recent versions? I'm still on 4.1.5 PL5, I'll probably upgrade when 4.1.12 is released.
