How can I make this BBCode?
I recently saw on this yugioh forum a really cool feature
Here's the link: http://www.pojo.biz/board/showpost.p...24&postcount=1 Every card is under a custom BBCode (I'm very sure it's a BBCode cause it's tags were (And in between was the card's name)) and when you hover over them, a popup appears of the card. How do I do this? |

Since those links go to the site that sells the cards, I think that site provides the plugin for you if you sign up as an affiliate.

Oh I see. There's no quick easy way to make this? I'm assuming, by the looks of it, it doesn't seem so complex

Heh heh...nice way to get my attention. Anyway, are looking to do the exact same thing, or something like it? If it's the second one and you have the info yourself then I think it's just a matter of setting the "onHover" attribute of a link to call a javascript function to pop up a small window. I don't know if there's an existing mod but you can probably google and find the code to do it, then you just have to put it in a bbcode as the replacement.

Ah I see. I think I can get the hover thing down. But right now I'm trying to get it so it'll show the image.
I made my tags [test] and the replacement "<img src="http://mysite.org/{param}.png" />" So when they would use tag, all they have to do is fill in between with the IMG's name. However, it's not working. S: |

Oh, OK, so you have the images and you just want a bbocde to insert them? What you have should work if it results in the correct image name. When you do it, what happens? Did you view the page html source to see what's being inserted?

I clicked view source and all that is shown is "[test]image[/test], (yes, there is an 'image.png' in the correct directory) |

That looks like you've done something wrong filling in the bbcode form. Where it says "BB Code Tag Name" there should be test and not [test]. And if you put [test]image[/test] in the example box, when you save it you should see the example working in the "Replacement" column of the bbcode manager, or else you have something wrong.
