I am trying to implement the Quick Reply Box and was wondering what you guys use to edit the templates? I tried to open them in notepad but I can't read half of it. It is not binary, but portions of it seem to be. I am at step 3 where you have to add the $reply but can't find where to put this. Anyone able to help me out here? Thanks...

In step two, I am supposed to create a new template call showthread_reply box. I do this but does it have to be a member of the showthread templates? If so, how do I get it to be a member of it because it shows up in the template list but all by intself and not with all the other showthread templates. Also, my reply box does not appear.

Well you make your new template and no it doesnt need to be in the same group as showthread. It should just be at the top of your list of templates. That template has the code (the appearance basically) of your quick reply box.
