[Search] Getting existing Thread suggestions when creating a new topic

Not sure if this is a good place to put this, but I'm on a mission from our vBulletin powered forum, I was telling some of the moderators about another vBulletin powered forum I went too awhile back and explained to them this other forum had a feature that when a person started a new topic it gave a list of similar related topics. we have had a had time recently with lots of people posting the same topics multiple times each day, and its getting out of hand.

is there a name for this module or link I can give them to look into?

I do not hold the license, the site owners holds that information, but they ask us to do the work for them, you tell me how that works.

our site admin is too busy I guess to research, they just like the income of the site, so if anything needs to be updated or changed we have to research it for them, then hand them the links..

if you could give me a link, or name of the module, they will login here and do what they do.

I just need something to give to them so when they get here they will not have to look around, because they will not take the time too.
