Hi
In default vB, the header of the main forumdisplay.php page of the forum and the header of the threads within that forum are same. Is there any way I can have two diff. headers? One for the main forumdisplay.php page, and another for the all the threads of that particular forum? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have seen a couple of vB forums doing it and so there has to be a way to do it? Thanks! |

I actually do this in this forum! If you want I'll post the full code. (it's really a matter of editing two lines)

i think, just add a new template, and put one of this header in the forumhome and the other in the threaddisplay template, i'm not sure!

It is, you are checking $forumid but anyone can set that through the URL. The best way is to check $PHP_SELF, like I do.

Hi all who replied back and thanks.
However I don't understand which one applies to my request ![]() I want a diff. banner for the main forumdisplay.php page, and a diff. banner for the threads in that forum. Thanks again. |
