layout
Hello,
What is the correct way to format the size of the sidebar and content? Like for example on the homepage the widgets on the right, I want them to be a bit wider how do I achieve this please? BTW I don't mean making a new grid with my own % I mean defining the widths manually |

You need to make a new grid with the correct width. That is the only way it works in the CMS.

Hi
thanks, but what is the file that actually has the code? |

Has what code? The widgets just fit the area they are put into. They have no width. I suppose you could say that code is in the template. But, if you go and set that width to bigger than the grid allows, it will probably just be cut-off. The grid is what you need to change.

I just found that you can edit the template files via the admincp rather than open the file manually, really nice function I must say.
I wanted to define the widths as integers rather than percentages. thanks anyway |
