Fixed style vBulletin but with Header and Footer bigger than content part
Hello....Happy New year 2012 to all. I have VB Pub Suite 4.1.7..I want to customize as below... Entire vbulletin home, forum and blog must be in Fixed style but again some changes need in that Fixed style like below... To make Header and Footer in bigger width than content part. I mean in that fixed style vb , i need content part to be 1.5inches smaller than header and footer. That 1.5inches i want to provide for ads space( For skyscraper)...This is my 1st question... 2nd question is how to customize adds space here...I know that by default vb has fixed ad spaces in Board, home, global etc...but somewhere below thread, forum etc..I dont see any default ad space for SKYSCRAPER 160x160 or 120x600...See attached file which is my preference..thanks |

all these things are easily customizable through stylevars, sidebar, and custom css. have you tried anything yet? have you searched the forum to see if anyone else has done anything similar? sometimes its easier to search vbulletin.org with google, than it is through the site search. you can do so by going to google.com and entering the following in the search box
Code:
site:vbulletin.org my search content more people are willing to help someone who has first tried to help themselves. And you can show us you have tried to help yourself by letting us know what youve tried by posting code you've tried, what it did or didnt do etc. A lot of the great coders and designers here got where they are by READING A LOT and trial and error with code, then, when they ran into an issue, they asked and posted what they've tried. Basically you are saying, hey, I have a new install of vB, i havent tried anything yet, but i want this!!!!!!!!!! with only 6 posts people are usually not willing to help out when you havent made an effort to do it yourself. Post a link to your forum with code youve tried. |
