Also, try creating a new style ("add new style" link in the Style Manager) with no parent and see if that style has the same problems.

style doesn't really work at all. The navbar and tabs are all over the place and no threads or posts to look at?

The second problem you mentioned seems to be with vbAdvanced CMPS, so unless it's caused by the same issue we probably won't be able to help you with that one.
ok maybe ill look for an update? is vbAdvanced a bulletin problem?

Thanks heaps for you help

Thanks Lynne for your Help.
Can I still update the css templates with vbulletin or do I need updated files for that style from the style creator?
the creators of that style don't do styles for vbulleting anymore i that going to be a problem? because its an old style?
How would i go about updating the css templates?

Sorry, I don't know if you need a vbAdvanced update or what the problem might be. Hopefully it will go away if the other problem is solved.

The css gets updated just like any other template. You would go to Style Manager > find style > Edit Templates > CSS Group and go through all the .css templates that have been modified and make sure you update them.

it looks to me like you are running a pre-4.1.5 theme on a board updated to a version after 4.1.5. you need to get the updated theme from skinbox and reinstall/update it. any theme created before 4.1.5 will have this problem.. the editor was updated to a new one at that point and is why you see the problem you have now.
you can also go to images in the stylvars for that theme and redirect the image path for the editor to the default vb and it will show correctly then. right now it is pointing to the files in the themes images folder and since it is outdated the icons are not showing up.

ok I've done an update for vbAdvanced and that 2nd problem is still not working.

1st problem I have gone to image paths in styles and changed/reverted the link to the bulletin editor file and not my custom style. didn't work.

billstelling i thought the same thing with my theme version not compatible with vbulletin but if that is the case then skinbox don't do styles for vbulletin.

Lynne how do you mean update css templates?
If I select FIND UPDATED TEMPLATES it says they are all up to date.
Do you mean reverting them back to default or replacing the files in my FTP?
can you give me a little more info I'm only really still learning atm
and do you have any ideas about the vbadvanced problem, I can't put any bbcode into my page (as screenshot above)?? did you check it out when you were on the site?

thanks for your replys they are really helping me out.
