Hello,

I have VB 4.1.2. A new member is trying to join but it says the email address have been banned. Since she is using a valid ISP email address (Bigpond) I thought it was strange. I have checked the system and there are definitely no bigpond email addresses banned. Any ideas how this user can join my site with her email address?

If you are using any "StopForumSpam" integrated plugin or any other anti-spam service, Akismet (?) and if you have the e-mail validation option ticked, spam e-mail adresses won't be able to register. Tell that member to check with his/her ISP or contact the respective anti-spam services.
