How can I copyright my Articles

Seems other forums are claiming my articles and I get a copyright notice from google telling me the article will be pulled from the search engines. Its really wearing on me, what do I have to do to copyright my articles?

One thing you might want to try is make your articles viewable by members of your forum. Obviously that won't stop them all but it is my understanding that anything you publish on the internet is yours and by stating it in the form of a copyright would suffice.

So would you suggest making a small note that it is copyright protected? I have seen people take my articles a year after they are posted and copyright protect them..... next thing you know I get an email from google of Notice of DMCA removal from Google Search. Its very frustrating ...... there must be some checks and balances somewhere to protect us.

Do you actually own a copyright? Simply claiming that your articles are copyrighted does absolutely nothing unless you have actually registered for a copyright for your articles. Once you have registered for a copyright, no one can legally copy your work and claim it as their own unless you give them permission.
