Default Strange thing changing user passwords

After my forum was hacked Im trying to recover few bugs left on my board.
I have the problem that any user including staff cant request the password or change the password specially the staff that have to change it every 30 days and Im the one that have to do it manually for them.

is there a fix for this or a menu Im missing?

thanks

Why can't they change it themselves - what is the error you get?

You can change the 30 days to something else in the Usergroup Manager

I'm confused now. You say they can't enter their *old* password, and yet in the first post you said they can't change it. Those sound like two different problems. Have you tried using a default style and seeing if it works then? Or disabling all your plugins?

Ok I guess I go sometimes nuts trying to figure out things. Sorry about making you confused Lynne.
The forum is telling my users to change pass because is too old. So when they go and try to put their current password and the new one they get an error saying that the old pass dont match the current one.

If they try to request a new password because they forgotten the forum will not allow them neither as they get another error.

Is driving me nuts since I have to manually reset pass about 50 times a day for users trying to get into the forum.

I havent try to disable the plugins as I have too many users logged in lately that I dont want to close the forum as the main plugin which cerberus will mess up the entire forum. lol
