is there any way a thread owner get notify when someone post
Hello,
Currently i am working on notify system for my board. is there any way a thread owner get notify when someone reply i am trying to have this with this code with if condition Code:
$post[threadid] can someone please tell me the variables for post counts in own threads if someone posted something there . thanks waiting for reply |

The owner can subscribe to the thread and then they will get notified is someone posts. They can set this up automatically in UserCP > Edit Options > Default Thread Subscription Mode

but subscribe thread is via email . i would like to have with private message option ? like message appear at the top in forum " you have 1 replies in your thread" when he/she click on it its shows "All the his/her threads" so that member can find out who posted him today or yesterday thanks

Paul has the mod that tells you how many new posts have been made since you were last here (upper right corner). I would guess you could modify that to only look for new posts in threads that you started. I do not know of any existing mod though (nor have I done a search since I assume you already did so).

ok i will try to look his hacks for that , i think you are referring to Display Unread Posts and New Reputation Comments paul hack . Vbulletin 4 has subscribe : Through control panel . That's its best feature so far i guess . as for social community its important to have notification for at least own work . If any coder out reading this Please if you could make Subscribe thread Through control panel it will be much appreciated and its very badly needed too thanks.
