I was upgrading from 3.8.7 to the newest 4.X vB. This is what I did...

1. Replaced the files on my server
2. Ran the upgrade file
3. Tried to go to my site

Got this error,

How can I fix this?

did you disable all the plugins?
in particular, the adblock one that your error is screaming about?

I did not. Is there anyway I can fix it now that the damage is done?

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php
