Hi,
I would like to disable all links in my forums posts. like should look like this: http://www.google.com (plain text. not linked to any site) i found a solution... [Link Removed]... but i dont want to modify the core files. is there any addon to disable links? iam using the latest vBulletin 4 version. thanks in advance |

I think VSa - Advanced Permissions Based on Post Count has an option for that. You could just set it to a very high number.
PS I hate sites that make me copy and paste links. |

There is no way to shut off the built in linking system without editing files.
However I have attached an xml file with 4 plugins (Note: Not Product, but actual Plugins) that does a pretty good job. It removes the option to "automatically parse links" when anyone submits a new thread, a new reply, quick reply, or edits a post. However if someone specifically uses the [url] bbcode it will still link. |
