Altcodes in usernames
Hey guys,
In my vbulletin forums whenever someone registers with a username that contains any altcodes (such as Æ) I can not view their profile but instead get this error: "Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource /member.php could not be found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." How do I fix this? |

In the acp go to users then search for users. At the top of the screen is a list of options. Click on the one that shows new signups. You get a list of the latest signups. Click on the one you want to look at.
Does that work for you? Sometimes new signups alter their name to be annoying. Sometimes they have something to hide. I would suggest turning off html and bbcodes for registrations. I have to get to the office so if that doesn't work for you hopefully some one will come along soon to help. |

I can view it by acp, however no one can view anything that contains the altcode Æ (which is the symbol of our clan) in the actual forums. You can not access someones profile on the forums and you can not open a thread that contains the alt code. This is rather annoying and was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this?

Have you talked to your host about this? It's a server issue, not a vbulletin issue.
