Borked WOL
I'm not sure what I did, but my WOL is now showing header/navbar info instead of locations. It's in every Style, so I don't think it's a template edit
Anyone have any ideas for where I can start looking? I disabled all the plugins with (define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true) and still had the issue. Screenshot attached. |

Start by checking if online.php and includes/functions_online.php look like they're all there. 713 lines in online.php and 2466 in the other for vB 4.1.5. I've lost parts of files just from viewing them and having a glitch when I close.

Thanks for the suggestions; I tried that, comparing the files to my backup of 4.1.4 and even commenting out the new line on functions_online.php line 1306 but my problem remains...

Sometimes you can view page source and find broken html or JS by changes in font colors.
There could be a broken tag from an edit somewhere. The files showing look like they're from headinclude or headinclude_bottom. Have you edited either of them? Both have a template hook at the bottom. It's possible that a product with an uploaded php file could be putting some bad code into one of those even with the plugins turned off. I would turn on all plugins and then go through products one by one and see if one of them is causing the problem. Also try hovering over the little question mark icon and see it it identifies the php file the user is viewing. I suspect it's your forum index. If it identifies the page that might be a clue to which one is broken. |

No, I haven't touched those -- but I don't think it's a template because it's a problem in all styles, including my default vb master.

First reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':
Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions [Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.] Next, disable all products (except vB Blog, vB CMS and Skimlinks if you have them.) Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Disable Then manually uncheck all plugins that are not for 'vBulletin Blog' and vBulletin CMS' here: Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Plugin Manager You must do BOTH of those steps in order to disable all non vBulletin Modifications. Do you still have the same problem? |

This may be a new bug in 4.1.5;
Disabling ACP/Styles & Languages Settings/Store CSS Stylesheets as Files? fixed it. |
