The really down and dirty way to move anything on the forum home page is to just add position statements to the object and put that in the additional.css. It's a lot less complicated than moving chunks of code that may have variables that have to be re-registered.
In this case I have to go along with RobbieZ. Best to ask the coders of the mods you use how to move them around.
