Hi Everyone,

This is my first post here. I bought a vbulletin license recently and i have a few questions. I want to turn my forum into a private membership forum ( recurring subscription ) and i'm not sure how to do it.

Is it possible to make give my users the possibility to make a new account on the forum which will be activated as soon as they send the subscription payment? (i don't want them to access the forum before they pay)

Also, if a user decide to not pay the subscription anymore after let's say 2 months, is it possible to make a setting that will automatically deactivate his account so he won't be able to access the forum anymore?

any other way? i saw that vbulletin 4 has paid subscriptions integrated? isn't that enough?

Without an addon, I guess you could just make the default usergroup extremely restricted to the point where it is considered "deactivated", then make a subscription and usergroup that upgrades them. When no payment is received, vBulletin will remove the subscription and privileged usergroup, and they will be "deactivated" again.

The mod kh99 linked to is powered by vBulletin's subscription system 100%, by the way.
