Conflicting styles after upgrading
I have what I consider an odd situation. I have upgraded from 3.8.5 to 4.1.4 pl 2 and all appeared well. That is until I went to log in.
The log in page ( upper left corfer home and forum ) display the password in plain text instead of *'s. But if you enter a wrong detail and get taken to the "you have entered incorrect ...." page, the password is not displayed in plain text. The admin cp has the 3.8.5 style even though the only style listed in style manager is vb4 default. I have already re-uploaded the admincp and images folder. I also clicked on "rebuild styles" to no effect. The forums, home (content.php), profile, etc etc all have the default vb4 style. It's just the admincp that's messed up. The look isn't the only thing wrong, some of the navigation links aren't there (cp home, expand, collapse, save pref, "forum home" and some others). Any ideas? --------------- Added [DATE]1313368017[/DATE] at [TIME]1313368017[/TIME] --------------- Update: I installed pl 3 and we can at least use the admin and mod cps (all links work and are visible). It's still using the vb 3.8.5 style somehow even though the only style is listed as vb 4 default. Only the cps are affected. Still showing plain text passwords when using the log in link in upper right corner ... this is obviously a higher priority than the cp style. Still looking for any help with this |
