Hi guys,

This was initially a 2 template modifications i created, i felt it would be much easier making it into a simple product for people to install and customize in the settings.

What is Additional Notification Alert:

It's a really simple, customizable block that appears just above the forums which will alert the users of any notifications, there is also a setting to limit the notifications to PM only:
  • Option to turn Modification on/off.
  • Option to enable for PM only.
  • jQuery drop/slide down for notifications.
  • Option to change the block background colour.
  • Option to change the block text colour.
  • Option to change the block hyperlink colour.
  • etc.
-INSTALLATION-

-STEP 1-
Download the attached install file (product-additionalalert.xml) and upload into admincp -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product. Remember to select Allow Overwrite.

-STEP 2-
Go into admincp -> Options -> [Boydy]Additional Notification Alert and Customize until your happy with the colour scheme! You can also enable for PM's only.

And that's it! Check out the screenshots, they are animated. Very simple but equally effective mod.

If you install this and for future updates and support please remember to mark as installed!

I love this! How do you make this appear at the very TOP of the page? Above everything...?

Unfortunately i had to move it as there isn't a template hook above everything.

Please note that this mod is not working properly with safari the flashing Attention Username is not working and it is just a static text.
