I'm working on some custom code I'd like to play close to the vest. I know about firebug for FF and view source in IE. Is there a way to block the use of these on my site?

I'm assuming you're talking about html and/or javascript? As far as I know, there is no way. If you google "hide javascript" or something like that you might find a few ideas, but there's no way to stop someone who wants to see it.
