Scores higher than 0 won't be saved after update to 4.1.x · **Released**: 06-06-2011

My 1500 arcade games worked fine in vb 3.8 - but it's getting worse and worse in vb 4.1.x now.

Some games don't finish loading the applet anymore (Yeti Flamingo Drive for instance). Many if not most games don't transmit scores higher than 0 anymore. When you play a game for the first time, regardless of your score it only transmits 0 as a score. When you play it again, it doesn't transmit any other score either and you get the following notification:

I run the 4.1.3 suite version but with disabled CMS. I applied the index.php code changes and all other fixes provided by Hippy in his thread. This doesn't seem to be the regular score transmit problem. The score DOES get transmitted, users don't get logged out, but it never transmits a score higher than 0 in a lot of games.

The Yeti games in particular seem to be plagued by this.

My arcade games only have the .swf files in the arcade root directory, I deleted the .tar / .zip files years ago because they were only taking up server space. Wasn't a problem in vb 3.8 but maybe it's causing problems in 4.1?

Does anyone have similar issues or an idea where the problem might be?

This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved.

Transmission Timeout (0 sec).

this is either the yeti game needs to be reinstalled or all the files added back manually.. or
a server (php) setting .. I would have to look into it, I forget what one it was..

all the other games work well..

except allot of the yeti games don't load all the way to even play them...

since most games work .. and it seems to be mostly the yeti games I would reup the files for them and see..

the arcade is working as it should
I would narrow it down to a couple games..

all the fixes you did look good as well..

I am also having issues where a lot of my games are not submitting score. Subbing to this to watch for fix.

Scores aren't saving for me after upgrade from 3.8.X to 4.1.4 and upgrade to latest arcade.
