anyways, theres lots of alternatives to adsense however with some of them you run the risk of having adult ads on your website.

What's wrong with using AdSense? It seems to be a fairly popular banner ad software that many sites use. Also it comes from a trusted company like Google where you don't have to worry about not being paid. I use it on some of my sites, but I also prefer to just put affiliate banner ads on some of my sites because I have 100% control over the content of the ad. I've read a lot of things about marketing on internet marketing blogs.

Adsense has a monopoly in web advertising. There are many alternatives but they dont pay as much has adsense.

If you have been unjustly banned by adsense then it is worth using your friends adsense account.

ContextWeb is paying 2 to 3 times what Adsense was paying me on the same traffic.

You set your own price for ads... don't be afraid to ask a lot- even if they can't fill each slot it seems to pay better than asking too little and getting every slot filled.

ContextWeb pays well for US and some Western European traffic only. If the major part of your traffic is not from these countries then you wont be paid as well as adsense.
