I think you should just have to find out what field number your custom field is, then surround the AUTOSTART=TRUE with an if, like

Code:

<if condition="$bbuserinfo['fieldX'] == 'Yes'"> AUTOSTART=TRUE </if>

(replace the X with the field number of course).
