this works for me:

In the Header template:
Replace the part between:

<div class="above_body"> <!-- closing tag is in template navbar -->
<div id="header" class="floatcontainer doc_header">

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

	<div id="toplinks" class="toplinks">

for this:

It will put your logo to the left with 4 spaces in front of it.
