As i mentioned in the title, I was wondering if I can hide my forums until some one makes the first thread..
is it possible?

How would anyone create a thread in a forum that is hidden?

Anway, you can hide it manually on AdminCP and then unhide it the same way:
AdminCP->Forums & Moderators->Forum Manager->[Edit forum]->Forum is Active->No
