hey, if someone could help me, id apreciate it!

Im having two probs, the first one: when i try to upload avatars/smilies or thread attachement, i get this msg

avatars/smilies:

and for attachements:

As you ca see for avatar, you can only see an X in the list

what could i do for this? the server hosting me is on safe mode so i put in option on safe mode and created a folder /tmp and evrything, but i still keep getting this msg!

The second prob:

I tried registering myself to the forum, after receiving the confirmatin e-mail, clicking on the link give nuthing, i get this error msg now:

What should i do! hehe

Because you need to be a licensed user to get help with vB. You are licensed, right?

i see... well "I" am not licensed, vB was actually installed by a friend of mine, but i dont know if hes licensed or not... i guess he is since he has a copy of vB right?
